  • Branding and Authenticity : Lisa highlighted the apprehension around branding oneself without losing authenticity. Her advice was to let the brand evolve naturally and ensure it aligns with one’s personal story and values.

Big Quotes From Cloud Sessions:

Chelsea : “Allow yourself to feel the sh*t you’re going through — and find an outlet. Don’t be afraid. Attempt the things you want to do.”
Adonis : “Break bread, then talk business. That’s why food was a good entry point for me.”
Lisa : “Your brand should constantly evolve. You need to constantly check-in with your brand to see if it is authentically speaking to your story.”

Resounding Themes Of The Day

  • Embrace Creativity : The event underscored creativity as a therapeutic and essential part of personal and professional growth.
  • Community and Connection : Building and maintaining connections within the community was a recurring theme, with mentors emphasizing collaboration and support.
  • Authenticity in Branding : Attendees were encouraged to let their brand evolve naturally, ensuring it remains true to their core values and story.

Editor Notes

This was a refreshing event. Dream State brought together creatives with diverse backgrounds at different levels in their careers together to learn from, connect and share with one another in intentional, vulnerable and productive ways.

The day was positive from start to finish. There wasn’t one empty interaction throughout the day. That’s saying a lot after doing an 8 hour shift with folks. I’m dreaming more than ever before after today. I’m sure everyone that was in attendance is doing the same.

Artists & designers are fuel for the F.A.M.E event, but in fashion, the product is only as good as the person representing it. Think of our models as the vehicles of the show.
